U was unanimously resolved that the plans be accepted with some slight modifications, and that the Board be asked to call for tenders without delay. Amongst the inward correspondence was a telegram from the Board notifying that they had decided on the removal of Mr Maberly, and suggesting the names of two teachers for the consideration of the Committee. To this communication the Committee sent the following reply;—‘The Committee wish the Board to authorise them to call for ap plications for the position of Head Teacher, and to be informed what salary Mr Maberly had received during the last six mouths.' The only ether matter of importance was a letter to the Board re Mr Maberly's suspension, and the manner in which the new regulations were brought into force in this district.”
