Auckland, Nov. 6 After a lengthy and eloquent appeal by his counsel, Ceorge Frederick Hewer, described as a medical practitioner, aged 49, was yesterday sentenced by Mr Justice Pair to two ye -?u S i- an( * n-half’s imprisonment with hard labour, having been found guilty of unlawfully causing a noxious drug to be taken with intent to procure a miscarriage.
