PERSONAL NOTES
Mr T. C. A. Hislop, Leader of the Democrat Party, arrives this afternoon from Auckland, and will deliver an address in the Town Hall .this evening at eight o’clock. Mr C. H. Burnett, the official Labour candidate, left for Te Aroha today to address meetings in that centre. Hon. Mr Macmillan returns from Te Aroha to-night. Mr Fred Policy, the Independent Socialist candidate, was nominated yesterday for the Tauranga Parliamentary seat by Nurse Mary HagehPratt and Mr Arthur Stewart. Mr Policy will leave to-morrow for the eastern end of the electorate in continuation of his campaign. He will drive by car through the electorate and • will camp, in his vehicle, which will be distinguished by the coloured lifebuoy which adorned the stage last night.
