MR McFARLANE AT OROPI.
Mr C. T. McFarlane, the Democrat Candidate, addressed a meeting in the Oropl Hall last night. There was a good attendance, about forty electors being present. Mr McFarlane dealt with the policy of his party and was given a good reception. Several questions were asked and answered and at the conclusion Mr J. K. Hamilton proposed a vote of thanks, which was seconded by Mr P. Fullerton, and carried unanimously. V The meeting closed with the usual vote of thanks to the chair.
