QUEEN CARNIVAL CONCLUDES

The Qijeen Carnival In aid of St Peter’s Anglican Vicarage fund was brought to a conclusion bn Thursday evening last with a dance held in t^® Public Hath There was : a large attendance, and excitement began to run very high towards 10 o'clock the closing time. During the whole period of the carnival more interest had been shown_by the public of Katlkatl in this effort than in any similar func!I er , held * u was naturally during the last .week that the interestwas h a ti its height and it continKd to the last minute. the song sounded, and all monies were paid in and the mf^i rerS u re^red to ork out the final results.
