COUGHS AND COLDS.
Sir. —I heartily support Mr George R. West’s letter. My boy caught a cold at the Tauranga Infant School in February, and as far as I can see it is becoming chronic. I hope other parents .■will take this matter up as in my opinion -an official investigation is overdue, T. P, BONE. . Sir, I can quite agree with Mr West s article in yesterday’s Journal, re the draughts in the school. I have no children going to school, but there are ; six going from" my house, and they continually complain about the draughts. They say they have to sit with an open window in front 1 of them, and you know how awkward.it is even In a church with an open window. -I have had to shut church windows many a time, in the Town Hall in Auckland they have had to make’alterations to keep the draught out. ■ H. J. VICKERY.
