MATCH AGAINST THAMES VALLEY. On Saturday last the Bay of Plenty team met the Thames Valiev representatives at Waihi and defeated the home team by a small margin. This makes two wins and one loss to the Bay for this season. Ray of Plenty v. Waikato. On Saturday next the Bay of Plenty representatives play the Waikato representatives at Te Puke. The game is scheduled to commence at 2 p.m. sharp. After the match the teams and officials will be entertained at the Te Puke hotel at a dinner. N'ewdick (Opotiki, vice-captain), Moore (Rangitaiki), Newth (Opotiki), Tama (Rangitaiki), Whiteley (Rangitaiki), Poihipi (Opotiki) doyce (Te Puke), Edwards (Opotiki). Emergencies, Farmer (Te Puke) Lees (Rangitaiki), Webster (Te Puke), Rhodes (Tauranga). The following reserves will be required should any vacancy occur in the emergencies not being able to attend the match: Broderick (Whakatane), Ahomiro (Te Puke). The final game with Apanui cannot be decided until these arrangements are complete. Te Hurinui Apanui Shield. The Rangitaiki Union having disposed of the Galatea representatives last Saturday, are now the winners of the Shield for the present season.
