WHAKATANE V. TAURANGA. The Whakatane senior representatives will visit Tauranga on Saturday ard will meet the local Union’s representatives. Given a dry ground the game should be fast and interesting. The following team has been chosen to represent Tauranga against Whakatane, at Tauranga on Saturday next: Full-back, H. Payment; three-quar-ters, L. Renata, R. Grey (captain), A. Tassell; live-eighths, J. Bidois, D. MacPherson; half-back. C. Motutere; forwards. I. Tangitu, D. Fitzpatrick,' D. Cameron, P. Bidois, E. Heke, M. Rhodes, C. Cameron, P. Ririnui. Emergencies: L. Murray, Gear (backs); W. McLeod, L. Roche (forwards). R. Mirrielees was not available.
All players are urgently requested to attend at the Domain for training to-morrow evening at 7 o’clock. The Whakatane team is as follows: Full-back, F.
