OBITUARY
' MU WILLIAM JOHN' WEST. | i A resident of New Zealand for forty-nine years in the person of Mr ■ William John West, passed away at ! the Tauranga Hospital on Saturday :at the age of sixty-eight years. The ; late Mr West came out to New Zea- j , land as a young man and during the whole of that time resided in various parts of the Auckland Province. Mrs West died eleven years ago and j Mr West is survived by five sons and j ; two daughters, viz., Messrs John and j Stanley West (Gisborne), Arthur, j j Ray and Bert West (Tauranga), Mrs I 1 J. Alach (Cambridge Road), and Mrs I Olsen (Matata). The funeral took j ' place yesterday afternoon, the service ■ at the graveside being conducted by | : the Rev. M. E. Holmes. i
