RACKS FOR SEVEN FOOTERS The Petrel and Zev having a tie of six points each for the French Cup, they sailed off to decide the winner on Saturday. The Petrel was scratch and Zev had two minutes. The starting time was 3.20 p.m. The finishing times were: Petrel, 3h 39m 30s: Zev, 3h 41m 20s.^ Corrected times; Zev, 3h 39m 265, first; Petrel, 3h 39m 30s, second. Zev won by 4 seconds and secures the French Cup for the season. Alex Wilson is to be congratulated on his win. Ron Mackrell lost valuable time when jibing round the far buoy on each occasion.
