HOSPITAL FEES
Request from Druids Order NO CONCESSION BY BOARD. A letter was read at yesterday’s meeting of the Tauranga Hospital Board from Mr J. B. Bell Secretary of the United Order of Druids, Auckland, stating that a branch was now operating at Te Puke, and the committee wished to know if the Hospital Board were willing to grant a concssion to members on similar lines to the Auckland, Waikato, Thames and Waihi Boards, which accept payment of accounts at 4s> 6d per day for adults, and 2s 3d per day for children up to 16 years of age, with a limit up to 210 days, and extras at half-rate. Mr McNaughton moved—That a reply be sent that the Board does not make any concession in fees to members of Friendly Socities. —The motion was seconded by Mr Mends and carried.
