MATAMATA QUOTATIONS. Dalgety and Company, Ltd., held the usual fortnightly stock sale at Matamata on Wednesday. Good yardings of all classes of cattle were totally cleared by a large attendance of buyers. Prices were:—Cattle: Fat Shorthorn steers, £ 6to £6 15s; fat cows, £3 to £4 ss; forward-con-ditioned cows, 2(is to 325; boner and store cows, 8s to 10s; best springing heifers, £7 10s.to £9: others, £5 5s to £6 15s: dairy cows, £3 to £4 ss. Pigs: Porkers, 225; smaller porkers, 18s to 20s; best store pigs, IGs to 18s 6d; weaners, 10s 6d •to 12s 6d. Sheep; Fat hoggets, 12s 6d to 14s; fat ewes, 9s.
