Following a petition by 400 residents of Epwortli, near Doncaster, England, against the proposed sale o£ Epworth Rectory, the birthplace of John Wesley, the Dilapidation Board have decided that the building shall be retained and preserved. Recent rectors have complained that the rectory is too large and too unwieldly, but the petitioners urged that certain portions added since Wesley’s time might be removed.
