EXCITEMENT IX RESTAURANT. Cannes, March 30 An exciting scene took place in a smart restaurant adjoining the casino at Cannes when a lioness, part of a wild animal show, escaped from the cage. There were 700 guests in the restaurant at the time, and a panic began. Some of the women fainted, while others rushed to the exits. Lady Oxford. Lady Mountbatten. Mine.
