People Trapped in Large Building.

A midnight explosion of photographic chemicals at Zagreb, Yugoslavia, caused by a fire on the second floor, trapped 45 families, and spread panic throughout the Star Film Agency’s seven-storey building. Tlie flames ignited the stairs to the fourth storey, preventing all egress. This necessitated the inmates jumping from the windows into sheets held by firemen in (be street. Six persons were killed and 25 were injured. Four others are missing, and arc believed to have been killed. An adjoining building also was destroyed. Policemen, soldiers and firemen quelled the outbreak after 12 hours.
