CATTLE TICK.
GRAIN IMPORTS BARRED. Owing to prevalence of cattle lick in New South Wales, the Department of Agriculture has notified grain merchants that further permits for impotring chaff and grain from the Australian State will be withheld. The ban on Importations extends to oats, chaff, barley, maize, straw a,nd hay. ' The embargo is not likely to affect the local grain market in the meantime as most of the lines imported from Australia, come from States other than New South Wales.
