BURNED BONES CASE.

VICTIM REPORTED TO RE ALIVE. Sydney, March 24 An amazing coincidence has occurred in connection with the murder in West Australia known as the Burned Bones Case. A report has been received by the police that Louis Carrou, the man whom the Crown allege was murdered, was seen after the date of his supposed death at a cattle station in the Murchison River district.

A station manager Ims forwarded information (o the police that he employed a Louis Carron on his property several months after the date that Carron was supposed to have been murdered. The police a.ro now investigating the story, and if it proves to be true, a remarkable position will arise, since the trial of “Snowy” Rowles, who was Carton's partner on the roads, has been tried and sentenced to die by (he West Australian Criminal Court.

Important Avitnesses attended the inquest and trial from New Zealand, including Carrou’s ivife and an Auckland dentist, Avho identified certain dental work that he had carried out and which avus among some of the human remains found in a fire at a camp knoAvn to have been occupied by Carron and Rotvles.
