BUTTER MARKET FIRMER. Messrs Joseph Nathan and Company have received the following cable from their London principals, Messrs Nathan and Trengrouse, dated London, March 28:—Butter.—Firm. 109 s per cwt; Danish, 115 s, landed duty paid. Cheese.—White, 61s per cwt; coloured, 625. Firm. Upward tendency.
Messrs Norden and Company, Limited have received the following cable from their principals, Messrs R. and W. Davidson, Limited, London, Glasgow, etc., under date 26th inst.: Butter.— Market rather steadier. 107 s to 108 s per cwt, equivalent to 11. lid per lb, f.0.b., Auckland; exceptional, 109 s, equivalent to 11.27 d per lb, f.0.b., Auckland. Cheese.— White, 60s to 61s per cwt, equivalent to 5.65 d per lb, f.0.b., Auckland; coloured, Gls to 625, equivalent to 5.75 d per lb, f.0.b., Auckland.
