DEIMPS EY AND GARNER A. Vancouver, March 27 A message from Oakland, California, says the Tribune states that regardless of the outcome of the 20round boxing contest between Jack Dempsey and Primo Camera, at Reno, on July 4, they will meet in a return bout in Australia on December 26.
Mr Hugh Mclntosh, Australian promoter, has made a lucrative offer for the return engagement through an American representative at Oakland, Mr A. Richardson, The paper says Dempsey is reported to have been guaranteed £20,000 plus four round-trip tickets and the promise of three other bouts and a short vaudeville tour. These terms are satisfactory to Dempsey, the paper adds.
McINNES OUTPOINTS BROADFOOT, Rotorua, March 29 After an indifferent start, Tommy Mdnnes, light heavy-weight champion of Scotland, outpointed Jim Broadfoot, light heavy-weight champion of New Zealand in ten rounds hero last, night. Broadfoot had his man worried during the first four rounds, but from then on Mclnuos recovered and gained points for victory.
