LOTTERIES BILL.
TO BE INTRODUCED IN HOUSE OF COMMONS.
Rugby, March 23
The House of Commons has granted leave to Sir William Davison (Con., South Kensington) to introduce a Lotteries Bill.
The object of the measure is to authorise the raising of money by means of lotteries for charitable, scientific or artistic purposes, or for any public improvement or other public object under conditions to be approved by the Home Secretary.
