EX-MAYOR ON DOLE.
At one time a man of considerable wealth, a former Mayor of Harrowgate, Mr Federick G. Johnson, is now on the dole. For many years Mr Johnson was a prosperous dress goods manufacturer with mills at Bradford, but he was hit by the tade slump. He had to sell his machinery, and finally had to obtain work which brought him under the Unemployment Insurance Act. Now he is out of work.
