PUBLIC NOTICES. NEW ZEALAND RAILWAYS. TIMETABLE ALTERATIONS. /AN and after MONDAY, 4th APRIL, ' the following alterations to the timetable will operate: AUCKLAND - WELLINGTON EXPRESS TRAINS. The present 7.40 p.m, Auckland-Wellington Express will NOT run. An Express train for Wellington will leave Auckland 3.0 p.m., Mercer 1.24, Frankton arr. 5.34, dep. 5.56 p.m.. arriving Wellington 7.4 2 a.m. next day. This train will leave Auckland Mondays to Saturdays inclusive (not Sunday) and will stop for passengers at Pukekohe, Mercer, Huntly, Frankton. Te Awamutu. Olorohanga., To Kuiti, Taumarunui. Raurimu, National Park, Ohakune. Taihapc, Mangaweka, Hunterville. Marton, Feildlng, Palmerston North, Levin and PaeAUCKLAND - TANEATUA EXPRESS TRAINS. The 9.S a.m. Auck-land-Tauranga-Taueatua Express will run as at present., to Morrinsville, thence as follows: Morrinsville dep. 1.16 p.m., Waitoa 1.32, Te Aroha I. Paeroa a.rr. 2.21, dep. 2.31, Waihi 3.13, Katikati 3.53, arriving Tauranga 4.41 p.m. On Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday this train will leave Tauranga for Taneatua at 4.51 p.m.. Strand 4.56, Te Puke 5.35, Whakatane West 7.32, arriving Taneatua 7.47 p.m. The present 7.25 a.m. TaneatuaAuckland Express will run as follows; —(Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday) Taneatua dep. 7.45 a.m., Whakatane West 8.5, Te Puke 10.3, Tauranga arrive 10.47 a.m. This train will leave Tauranga daily (except Sunday) at 10.58 a.m., Katikati 11. a.m., Waihi 12.31 p.m., Paeroa arr. 1.10, dep. 1.20, Te Aroha 1.52, Waitoa 2.9, Morrinsville 2.30, Hamilton 3.4, Frankton 3.16, Mercer 4.47 p.m. thence as at present to Auckland.

FRANKTON-TAURANGA-TANEA-TUA LINE. The present 7.10 a.m. Fi*ankton-Taui’anga train (daily except Sunday) will leave Frankton 7.15 a.in., Hamilton 7.22, Morrinsville S.lB, Waitoa 8.41, Te Paeroa arrive 9.40, dep. 10.10, Waihi 11.1. Katikati 11.53 a.m., arriving Tauranga 13.55 p.m. This train will NOT stop for passengers between Hamilton and Morrinsville. The present 2.10 p.m. Tauranga-Fi-ankton tx-ain (daily except Sunday) will leave Taui’anga 2.0 p.m., Katikati 3.10, Waihi 4.11, Paeroa arr. 4.57, dep. 5.20, Te Aroha (!.0, Waitoa 6.19, Morrinsville 6.45, Hamilton 7.36, arriving Frankton 7.41 p.m.

The present 10.36 a.m. FranktonPaeroa train (daily except Sunday) will leave Frankton 9.55 a.m., Hamilton 10.2, Morrinsville 11.7, Waitoa 11.35 a.m., Te Aroha 12.7 p.m., arriving Paeroa 12.42 p.m. The present 3.40 p.m. FranktonPaeroa train (daily except Sunday) will run as usual to Morrinsville, thence as follows:—Morrinsville dep. 4.54 p.m., Walton. 5.21, Te Aroha 6.6, Paeroa arrive 6.45 p.m.

The present 6.0 a.m. Paeroa-Tau-rauga, train (daily except Sunday) ■will leave Paeroa 6.25 a.m., Waihl 7.32, Katikati 8.40, arriving Tauranga 10.0 a.m. The present 8.30 a,.m. TaneatuaTauranga train (daily except Sunday) will leave Taneatua 8.55 a.m., Whakatane West 0.20, Te Puke 12.20 p.m., arriving Taurangai 1.8 p.m.

The present 11.30 a.m. TaurangaTaneatua train (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday) will leave Tauranga 11.45 a.m., Strand 11.50 a.m., Te Puke 1.3 p.m., Whakatane West 3.50, arriving Taneatua 4.10 p.m. THAMES LINE. The present 10.10 a.m, Paeroa-Thames North train (daily except Sunday) will leave Puriri at 10.4 7 a-m. (2 minutes earlier than at present) and will run to Thames only, arriving 11.15 a.m.

The present 12.15 p.m. Thames North-Paeroa train (daily except Sunday) will run from Thames only, leaving there at 11.30 a.m., Puriri 12.5 p.m., arriving Paeroa 1.2 ■p.m. and connecting with Tauranga-Auck-Jand Express.

The present 2.35 p.m. PaeroaThames North train (daily except Sunday) will leave Paeroa 2.30 p.m., Puriri 3.3, Thames 3.34, arriving Thames North 3.38 p.m. The present 3.58 p.m. Thames North-Paeroa train (daily except Sunday) will leave Thames North 3.48 p.m., Thames 4.0, Puriri 4.30, arriving Paeroa 5.5 p.m. and connecting with the Tauranga-Frunkton afternoon train.
