HISTORIC HOTEL.
MAYFAIR'S “CURZON” CLOSED, The Curzon Hotel, Mayfair, a.haunt over a century ago of the Prince lbgent and his satellite Beau Brummeil and a centre of London fashion dovn to the present day, has dosed ib doors.
Servants who have been employed at the hotel for 30 and 40 years hats been thrown out of work.
A luxury hotel may bo erected ,os the historic site; negotiations to this end have been under way, says thf Daily,Express?, or a block of flats ma; lake its place. The old hotel, ho* ever, is doomed. The decision to close was made* few weeks ago, and the company wi! got into voluntary liquidation.
