A beany vote of thanks was cs> tied by acclamation to Mr Downs m others who had brought forward a.’ matter. DANCE AT PAKXGAROA. A dance given by Mr and % Mundt was held in the Paangataj Hall last evening, there being a good attendance of dancers from all pam of the district. The Monte Carls dance was won by Miss Scott and Mi lan Wilson. The Hall was beautifully decorated and a sumptuous supper was pr#. vided. Darning to the tune of Chap, man’s Orchestra was continued till* late hour. Extras were played h Mr G. Highet and Hiutz Brothers. •
