EASTER CAMP.

BAY OF PLENTY BIBLE CLASSES

Murray (President) presided and there was a large number of delegates. Owing to the financial depression it will not he possible to occupy the new camp site purchased by the committee this year. The site occupied during the last two camps win again be the centre of the camp and the large marquee will be utilised for the meals and the meetings. The girls camp will occupy “Balmoral” and batches in that vicinity, and will be in charge of Mrs J, G. Murray, of Opotiki.

The boys will be accommodated in tents on a site nearer the reserve and will be in charge of Mr W. J. Murray as Camp Father assisted by Mill. G. Reeves.

The various committees reported progress in their arrangements: Camp and accommodation by Rev. H. J. Lilburn; catering by Rev. A. 1). Hor well; programme, Mr W. J. Murray; transport, Messrs H. Dickson and H. D. Paterson; sports, Mr O. Santon (district secretary). Miss, Linda Sutherland, Whakatane, is Camp Registrar and Mr T. J. Steele, Opotiki, Gamp Secretary. Last year the registrations totalled 126, and, notwithstanding local difficulties, this year it is hoped that this number will be again reached if not beaten. The Rev. D. N. Mac Diarmid, of Opotiki, is to be in charge of the study circles and will give the main camp addresses.

On Easter Sunday afternoon the camp will be open to visitors and tea will be provided and a cordial invitation extended to any parents or friends to stay for the evening meeting.

The camp will open on Thursday evening and will conclude oil Monday forenoon. Given fine weather a most pleasant and profitable time is hure to be enjoyed by those attending.
