MATAMATA PRICES. There were?" average yardings of all classes of stock at the weekly Mlatamata sihick sale /conducted by the Farmers’ Co-op. Auctioneering Co., Ltd. Late rates were maintained throughout. Prices were:— Beef.—Fat cows and heifers, £8 to £S 19/; medium fat cows, £6 17/6 to £7 J 5/; light fat cows, £4 10/ to £6 5/; store cows, £3 to £3 »5/; bqpjrs, 30/ ( to .15/; cows with calves, £4 10/ ; Jersey-cross fieiicf calves, 36/ to £2 15/; dairy cows in milk, £8 5/: springers* £7 to £9. Sheep.—Fat wethers, 24/3 to 26/; fat hoggets, 27/; fat lambs, 19/9; m.s. shorn lambs, 9/9 to 10/6; smaller shorn lambs, 8/; fat ewes, 15/. Pigs.—Medium porkers, 39/ to £2 5/; light porkers, 30/ to 35/; store pigs, 22/6 to 34/; slips, 16/ to 22/; wcaners, 7/ to >2/6; choppers, up to £2 2/.
