BETTING CASES.
Auckland, April 22 Archibald Anderson was arrested in the- street this morning on a charge of keeping a common gaming house. A quantity of betting material was seized. The accused was remanded on bail. , Aa William John Gibbons, aged 42, a ■salesman, was charged with laying tote odds in a hotel on Saturday. He was fined £lO.
