TIRED OF SUN-TAN.
HOSIERY SHADES LIGHTER. Women are getting tired of the sun tan fad—at least as far as their hosiery is concerned. Latest advice from overseas, tells us that neutral shades—Beige, Clairs, Plage, Loire, and Blond Dore, the newest —are becoming Increasingly popular and supplanting the more definite\brown tones. Pastels and delicate tints are first favourites and many women are having their hose dyed to match foot wear and costumes. Frequently the hose will repeat the dominant colour in the costume. One extreme case was that of a white sports frock, worn with stockings and accessories in ciel blue to match the trimming. Striped silk ankle socks are still as much sought after as ever and show some beautiful colour combinations In the cuffs. Such as hunter green and purple, maroon and golden brown, and black, blue and bright red.
