Ox beef was of good Quality, and in some cases values were slightly firmer than those of last week! Extra choice ox agadn sold at prices up to 32/ per tpolb, .. . There was a moderate yarding of sheep, which met with a steady sale at rates ruling last week. Lambs again came forward in smaller numbers_, prime lambs selling under keen competition at improved values. Pigs were yarded in smaller numbers owing to the recent drop in I ,ric , es - Competition was again dull ■ auci there was- no 'improvement in values. I The following is a summary of jthc prices realised;— , Beef (per loolb).—Ertra choice ox, j 37/; choice and prime ox, 34/ to 136/6; choice and prime cow and I heifer, 30/ to 33/. , Sheep (per head)—Prime wethers, 24/6 to 29/6; unfinished wethers 21/6 to 24/9; prime ewes, 16/ to 21 prime, lambs, 18/1026/6. Calves (per head).—Runners, 80 to 125/; vealers, 32/ to 100/. ' Pigs (per head).—Baconers 56/ to ,85/; porkers, 34/ to 68/; weaners, ,5/ to 13/; slips, 10/ to 23/; large ! stores, 20/ to 30/.
