Mr and Mrs Ralph Ward, of Taupo, are spending a holiday in Tauranga.
Constable O’Neill, of Katikati, is relieving at -the Tauranga station while Constable Skinner is attending the Supreme Court in Auckland.
A London cable announces the death of Mrs W. K. Clifford, novelist and playwright.
The Hon. J. B. Donald, Postmas-ter-Ceneral, will be in Auckland until early next week, when he will leave' for Wellington.
Mr A. Gifford, of Morrinsvillo, is spending a holiday at Mount Maunganui and Taurangn.
