DAIRY INDUSTRY
SIR THOMAS CLEMENT'S VISIT, Sir Thomas Clement, chairman of directors of Messrs Andrew Clement and Sons, Ltd., dairy produce importers, of Tooley Street, London, who is at present touring the Dominion, passed through Tauranga this morning in company with Messrs R. W. R. Robertson (the head of the firm in New Zealand), W. H. Kent (Wellington representative), and A. O. Norden (Auckland representative). Sir Thomas met dairymen at Whakatane yesterday, and to-day went through to Turua on the Hauraki Plains. He was met here by Mr C'. 13. Macmillan, M.P., with whom he conversed for about half-an-hour on dairy matters, and the parly thou continued its journey.
