RAGWORT MENANCE
‘ Where are your inspectors?” asked a Kiwitahi settler at the meeting of tho Piako County Council, in the course of a letter appealing against the spread of the ragwort weed. Members of the council agreed that the weed’s vigorous and immediate suppression was vitally necessary, and decided to forward the letter to the district Agricultural Department ollice.
