AFGHAN CRISIS
TRIBES MARCHING ON KABUL. Delhi, Jan. 22 The ex-King Amanulla, of Afghanistan, has recognised the Government of Afghanistan and fighting has ceased everywhere except at Jagdalak, between Kabul and Jalalabad. There looting is proceeding. Amanujla has enlisted strong support al Kandahar and the Shin wards and other tribesmen are .marching toward Kabul. Other tribes, like the Mangals, Durranis and Ghilzais may follow their example, but the fate of the kingdom lies in the hands of the Ghilzais. These comprise the most numerous and strongest tribe. If the Ghilzais decide to support Amanulla tho rebel leader Bacliai Sakea, who has usurped the throne, will soon he deposed. Tho report that Bacliai had boon murdered is officially denied.
