VESSEL CAPSIZES
200 DROWNED. Delhi, Jan. 22. Two hundred lives were lost when a vessel carrying 700 pilgrims capsized at the mouth of the Hooghly River, .at Saugor, Bengal, while a religious fair was in progress. The craft was crossing the mouth of the river in a rough sea. The pilgrims became panic-stricken and rushed from one side of the deck to the other. This led to the vessel capsizing.
