ANNUAL MLLTINCr OU TAURAM'.A UNION. The annual meeting of the ’lauranga liugby Union was held in the Borough Council Chambers on Saturday, the 14th nisi. There was a .good attendance ol delegates and supporters. The report showed that the I nion had a fairly successful season, especially in the junior competitions. Owing to a misunderstanding the Union s challenge fur the llurinui Apanui ShiTo was not accepted, bad it was fortunate in having a game allotted to it with the Auckland touring team. The linaneial aspect was very creditable, the Union starling off with a deficit of £23 and closing the season with a credit balance of about £2. Several important matters were brought up and discussed at the nr. cling. The question of a weight limit in the junior competition was thoroughly gone into and it was finally decided that the limit be fixed at list 71b.

Clinkard: Management Committee, Messrs N. Day, G. Butler, J. Neal. T. McLeod, J. Kennedy, \V. Armstrong and \V. Denniston. Management Committee. The Management Committee met on Saturday last. All members were presenl, and the prospects of a real good season of football is very bright The arrangements with the Te Puke Fnion made by the delegates to To Puke on Friday night were confirmed, and as a result, a Te Puke learn will lie playing every oilier Saturday in Tauranga and vice-versa. A NAME CHANGED, The annual meeting of the College old Boys’ Uugby Football Club was held on the 17lh inst. H was resolved to ask the Union’s pet-mission to change the name to the Athletic Football Club.
