Considerable business was transacted at the monthly meeting or the Tauranga County Council yesterday, which commenced at 10 a.m., and did. not j conclude till 4.15 p.m.. The Council first sa,t as the Finance Committee and went through a long list of accounts embracing work all over the county. After the leading of the minutes and the outward correspondence, the inward letters, totalling over forty, were taken, and disposed of in two hours. The afternoon was mainly taken up with deputations.
