Ladies bathing costumes at 14/6 are a feature this week at the Bon Marche. THE “TERRIBLE” ADJECTIVE “The sweated adjective is ‘terrible.’ It is in the mouth of every y o u n g woman and every young man every moment. It is also in the mouth of many women and many men who are not so young as they pretend to be. Even our greybeards and our dyed dowagers are terribling terribly.
