NEW ZEALAND CHILDREN
.Per Press Association.) Christchurch, Nov 4 In opening the new open air school on Cashmere Hills to-day, His Excellency the Governor-Gener-al, said ; ‘‘Her Excellency and myself have seen the most splendid children in the world. Certainly the .children in the Old,' Country cannot approach them or any oth--ler country either. Why is it that you have such fine types of healthy children, of such good physique? I imagine that it is the effect of the environment of the fine open air and also because they are descendants of men and women, who as pioneers, lived such healthy vigorous lives.”
