Following tlio deatlv at Jvmee, of ' Clare Prowse, aged seventeen, a teleJack Smith, aged eighteen, a telegraph operator, has been arrested. > It is stated that Smith had been paying addresses to the girl, and was repulsed. It is believed site was attacked with a razor. She rushed into the house where she boarded. covered with blood, and died shortly after. The T police visited a room at the June© -■ hotel and arrested Smith,'who is said - to have had two gashes, one being in - | the temple. He was bleeding profusely. T
