At the Supreme Court Clio jury rej turned a verdict of not guilty in the charge of theft and forgery against Aubrey Leigh Al'iddlenu'ss, when ho was a clerk at the Pukekohe Post Office. The charge concerned a deposit- of £2O by a Maori, which it was alleged accused had put to his own use and which it was stated had "been repaid, but which statement was denied by the Maori.
