' London, July 8 In the House of Commons it was alleged that 25,000 crates of clieoso, recentlv held up in the London stores, awaiting higher prices, had become heated and unsaleable. He suggested that legislation should restrict the operations of interests controlling large supplies of foodstuffs. . Mr Sydney Webb, president of the Board of Trade, replied that -he was informed that early ar< rivals of New* Zealand cheese this year went more plentiful than usual. II: had been decided to place the immature cheese in store in order to provide a reserve for the autumn. He was not aware that any appreciable wastage in cheese had occurred. but would be glad of detailed infornition.
