ALL DAY TOURNAMENT

An all-day full rink tournament for the Crowley Buckles was held on the local bowling green yesterday, forty players- including several visit ors— participating. Play was arranged in five rounds, two of an hour and a half each in the morning, and three of an hour and a quarter each i'n the afternoon. The teams were arranged as follows: — Skips, and thirds —B. Crowley and Lewis, Torrance and Watson, Washer and Phillips, Hammond and Dive, Moncur and Nutter, Guinness and Sharp, Allely and Gifford, Biggs and Teasey, L. Crowley and Munro, Corrigan and G. Crowley. Seconds and Leads—White and McCufcheon, Mason and Bent, Clemson and Deakin, Dumbell and Tanner, Miller and S. Pemberton, Green and Kingdon, Bayliss and Gibbons, McCarthy and Norris, Ivory and Tisdall, Dagley and Whiting. Of the skips and thirds, Washer and Philips were the winners with five wins, and of the seconds and leads, Miller and Pemberton headed the list, also with five wins. These four are the holders of the buckles for the year.
