OBITUARY
(Per Press Association t Waihi, Dec. 22. Mr Thomas Gilmour died yesterday in his 83rd year. Deceased was engaged in mining since he was 21 years of age. He was appointed manager cf the Waihi Mine in 1893 and wa§ succeeded by his son, Mr J. L. Gilmour, in 1902. He retired as consulting mine manager in 1913. Deceased is survived by two daughters, Mrs P. G. Morgan (Wellington), and A. V. Morgan (Waihi), and mm sou, Mr J. L. Gilmour.
