ANZAC DAY

(Bv our own Correspondent). Anzac Day was somewhat marred by bad weather. A united service was started in fruit of the Library verandah in the brelara Domain, about 300 pimple being present. The service opened with three verses of the National Arnhem, and then the opening hymn “O God Our Help. Heavy rain commenced to fall, and the show buildings had to be used for the remainder of the service. A lunher prayer and a suitable address by the Bov. Ashton, was folio-wed by Kipling’s Recessional, and the- Benediction by the Rev. Wayne and the National Anthem brought the service to a close. Wreaths were placed on the Memorial Gates, the names of the fallen were announced, and the Last Post sounded by Private G. Henry. Afternoon lea was then served to all.
