A further letter from the Department acknowledging an answer from i he Council in the affirmative, intimated that under these circumstances the Minister would be prepared to introduce legislation validating the expenditure. “This means to say that we have got all we wanted.’’ said the chairnan, Mr G. M. Reynolds, and he added that all that remained to be done was to request the counties of Waikolm and Matakaoa, through winch the boundaries ran, to supervise the patrols.
