Wellington, April 26 The Waimana arrived yesterday from London with 1190 immigrants a large percentage being youthful and many are only children, The voyage was uneventful till running into rough weather approaching the coast, when, as the ship was flying light, she got. a good dusting. Twenty-one of the children brought by the Waimaua are war orphans who have come out under the aegis of the Salvation Army. Fourteen boys will be sent at once to the Army’s Farm at Putaruru. Seven girls will remain in the Army's Home, Wellington, t|) be trained for domestic service.
