HOSPITAL SITE.
(To the Editor). Sir, 1 read in your valuable paper the proposal to build a new hospital on a new site. How strangelj r time changes men and ideas! A number of men gave away our glorious waterfront to railway aud wharves, a mistake that shall never be remedied ; why surpasses comprehension. A number of men built our hospital where it is - “miff said." Now we find a great champion for our waterfront m Mr Southey. He truly has done his best to save it, but he advocates retaining the present site for tlm new hospital. Mr Grant takes another attitude he wants to erect wharves that will spoil the finest waterfront in our Dominion, but we find him advocating a better site for the new hospital. 1 take off my hat to Mr Donald Grant. .Surely the sick are entitled to the best we have. Cost should not be considered too s■ 1 • ise hr Remember, the new site will lie fur all time, and for the benefit and comfort of thousands ami thousands of unfortunates.
