FATAL ACCIDENTS
LIGHTHOUSE KEEPER KILLED
(Per Press Association.) Masterton, April 10
Mr Alexander Duncan, principal lighthouse keeper at Castlepoint, to which he was recently transferred from Puyseugar, was killed on Saturday evening. After lighting: up he got a ladder to attend to the telephone on the track and apparently fell from the top, fracturing his skull. He was found an hour later. He leaves a widow and family of three.
