außlr«iian and N.Z. Uftblft Association. London, Dec 27 A message x from Paris says that a village policeman demanded Carpentier’s license while he was motoring recently at Meux. It was not forthcoming, arid he was fined 100 francs, the motor being confiscated. * Carpentier, who is still training in England, did not appear at the Court.
