OVERPAID OFFICIALS
Overpayments to members of the L.C.O. sTafi amounted to £6,158, says the District Auditor iu his report for 1919-20. The total loss, he adds, will probably be about £4.630. There was no justification lor the pleas put forward by many of the officials as excuses for obtaining money to which they must ' have known they were not entitled-
